Jim Thomas had joined the Audatex team in the newly created role of Implementation Manager of our innovative end-to-end bodyshop management system (BMS), PlanManager.
Jim joins Audatex from IRG and will be crucial in supporting the continued successful roll out of PlanManager across the UK. Using his extensive industry experience, Jim will help to bring best practice for clients to maximise the value that PlanManager can deliver for their business, complimenting the BMS Sales team with a more consultative approach to customer implementation.
Starting his career in family-owned bodyshops, Jim has since undertaken senior roles providing customer and business growth strategy support at various leading vehicle repair businesses. In 2010, he was appointed Operations Advisor at Fix Auto UK, moving in to Head of Operations in 2013 heading up the UK operations team to offer best practice for the Fix Auto franchisees. He later became the company’s Head of Client Relations in 2015 and was responsible for the performance delivery of the network for the centralised insurance clients.
Commenting on his new role, Jim said: “Audatex is a prominent player in the automotive industry and has a clear vision to drive innovation and improve bodyshop efficiency and performance utilising the latest in vehicle repair technology. I believe there is a valuable place in the market for a full end-to-end bodyshop management system such as PlanManager and I’m excited to help support Audatex customers on their journeys towards a better and more streamlined repair workflow.”
“Jim brings a wealth of industry experience to his new role as Implementation Manager of our innovative PlanManager solution and we’re delighted to have him on board as we continue to roll the solution out across the UK market,” adds David Shepherd, Regional Managing Director of Audatex UK and Africa. “Jim’s vast experience in working closely with customers will be instrumental to ensuring PlanManager is meeting the needs of every user and will also play a key role in supporting the technical development of the solution in the future.”
