Social distancing has already and will continue to have a huge impact on the way business will need to operate going forward. Using Audatex’ Bodyshop Image Capture solution will allow bodyshop users to interact with customers, in a digital first, contactless way.
Audatex Bodyshop Image Capture is an intelligent web application, delivering smart images that give the repairer valuable insight into the vehicle’s condition before it even arrives on site.
Audatex Bodyshop Image Capture enables repairers to send their customers a SMS request for images of their vehicle’s condition and damage, via their smartphone. Customers receiving an Image Capture request are guided by an intuitive online process to capture the required images, with no app download required. Upon return of images from the customer, the bodyshop receives an email notification and can instantly access the images provided via their Audaenterprisegold assessments or via the secure user interface, to begin triage immediately with increased accuracy.
In a world where visiting the customer may be unsafe, image capture allows bodyshops to practise social distancing, while gaining the necessary information from the driver. This allows them to begin the damage estimation process, gain early repair authorisation and pre-order required parts, all before the vehicle has arrived on site. Once the bodyshop site has visibility of the vehicle and the condition, the repairer can then make informed decisions on how best to arrange safe delivery or collection of the vehicle to begin the repair.
To support its customers on the path to recovery, Audatex are offering this service to all repairers, completely free of charge from May 1st to September 30th, 2020.
