Solera Audatex launches ‘Image Capture’ putting the power of vehicle damage capture into the Vehicle Owner’s hands

20th September 2019 -Solera Audatex, global provider of market-leading solutions for bodyshops, service providers, insurers and customers, today announces the launch of Audatex Image Capture, an intelligent web application delivering smart images that give the repairer valuable insight into the vehicle’s condition before it even arrives on site.

Audatex Image Capture enables bodyshops to send their customers a customisable SMS request for images of their vehicle’s condition and damage, via their smartphone. All integrated directly to existing Audatex Assessments.

Customers receiving an Image Capture request are guided by an intuitive online process to capture the required images, with no app download required. Upon return of images from the customer, the bodyshop receives an email notification and can instantly access the images provided via their Audaenterprisegold assessments, to begin triage immediately with increased accuracy.

Using the additional images provided, bodyshops can begin the damage estimation process, gain early repair authorisation and pre-order required parts, all before the vehicle has arrived on site, reducing key-to-key times and improving customer experience and satisfaction.
